Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was a resident of Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10th 2011 at Fredericton in an Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was expecting while filming the final episode of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she was ready to return to her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
